Curent Reading

leather_booksWhy share with you my reading list? First, if you’re a member/attender of the Church that I pastor it’s good to know that your pastor reads and it’s good to know what he reads. Second, I will try to occasionally give a review of books that I read and recommendations that may help you to determine what you could/should read or what I humbly think wouldn’t be worth your time. Finally, I want to encourage people to read and when I find out other people read and I learn about what they read then it encourages me to read. I do this in the spirit of this: “never stop learning and growing.”

The vast majority of my reading is spiritually related and ministry related since that’s where I “hang my hat.” Beware: I am a gleaner. I believe I can learn from anything, whether it’s positive or negative. So just because I read a book doesn’t mean I endorse everything that author may say or do. This should be obvious, but I never cease to be amazed at how we humans can often miss the obvious. So I hope you find encouragement through this site.
